The Cathedra of Antioch

Peter was among the men who went to Antioch after Stephen’s martyrdom (Acts 11:19). The liturgical feast of his cathedra in Antioch is 22 February. The feast commemorates Peter’s consecration of a church.[1] The first 22 February after Stephen’s martyrdom was Friday 22 February 37 AD = 17 Shevat (Parker and Dubberstein).[2] When Peter was imprisoned at Passover 43 AD, he came from Antioch.[3] Peter was bishop in Antioch for 7 years,[4] from his recognition on 1 Sivan 36 AD until his departure for Rome following Passover 43 AD.
