The reunion at the death of the Holy Virgin

According to A.C.E., the Holy Virgin visited Jerusalem 1½ year before her death. She fell ill near dying, and a tomb was prepared, but she recovered and returned to Ephesus.[1] Since A.C.E. thought that the Holy Virgin died in Ephesus (rather than in Jerusalem), she presented the Holy Virgin as coming from Ephesus to Jerusalem and returning to Ephesus. It was the other way around: the Holy Virgin visited Ephesus, coming from and returning to Jerusalem. She visited Ephesus in the spring of 53 AD, i.e. 1½ year before her death in August 54 AD.

Paul visited the Holy Virgin in Ephesus with Dionysius the Areopagite.[2] Dionysius became a disciple during Paul’s visit to Athens in the autumn of 49 AD (Acts 17:34). Paul halted in Ephesus in the first half of May 51 AD and stayed there from late 51 AD until the autumn of 53 AD. Paul and the Holy Virgin met in Ephesus in the spring of 53 AD. It was again the other way around: the Holy Virgin came to visit Paul in Ephesus rather than Paul coming to visit the Holy Virgin.

The reunion at the death of the Holy Virgin was the last meeting of the Apostles.[3] All the Apostles (with the exception of the deceased James the Greater) attended. Though Maria de Agreda states that Paul was present,[4] A.C.E. explicitly states that he was not.[5] Paul was in prison since Pentecost 54 AD. Lazarus did not attend either.[6] After the assumption of the Holy Virgin, the Apostles parted company again. Several Apostles would have continued to Jerusalem for a minor reunion.[7] The supposed journey is because A.C.E. thought that the Holy Virgin died in Ephesus. Both the burial and the subsequent reunion took place in Jerusalem. Disciples of Gamaliel were present during this minor reunion.[8] Peter then returned to Rome.[9]
